What is “Team Human”?
At its core, “Team Human” is an idea — a mindset or meme — that envisions all humans acting as a unified team, overcoming divisiveness, addressing threats to our well-being, and achieving great things. It promotes an optimistic outlook on humanity, appreciation of our accomplishments, and encourages mutual respect, understanding, compassion to help us achieve a more unified team-like operation locally & globally.
This “Team Human” mindset is an aspirational antidote to the forces of conflict between individuals and cultures that lead to human-caused suffering. As individuals and as societies, we face many issues which are challenging enough to deal with on their own.
The vision & values page provides general guidance compatible with the team human mindset, but doesn’t define many specifics about what issues we should address or how to achieve particular goals. We humans are clever enough to figure those things out, when given the chance!
What is TeamHuman.org?
TeamHuman.org aims to promote human well-being and progress by spreading the Team Human mindset and vision. It has no affiliation to any political party, religion, government, or commercial industry. It is simply motivated by a desire to see us humans succeed.
The notion of “Team Human” can mean different things to different people, and may inspire us in different ways. So this website will also showcase various projects, efforts, organizations inspired by the notion of “Team Human”, establishing a loose alliance of humans that support this mindset. It’s is a work in progress, so check back for updates.
